Strawberry Hill
House
April 12th, 2021
We enjoyed a private viewing of one of London’s most unique buildings, Strawberry Hill House, which was designed by Horace Walpole, the politician, writer and historian. This gothic revival masterpiece combines a multitude of architectural elements into a fairytale mishmash. Its unique setting and atmosphere became the inspiration for what is generally regarded as the first gothic novel, Walpole’s The Castle of Otranto.
Our visit included a tour with a specialist guide, conversations about art and architecture and a personal welcome from the museum director. The visit provided the perfect backdrop for conversations about architecture, design and a fun and whimsical photoshoot.
